The Orchid School has also been coordinating a yearly exchange program called ‘Sweden-India Teachers Exchange Program’ for Teachers, Social Workers and Professors from Sweden since 2007. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between The Orchid School, Pune and ‘Donner Gymnasiet, Sweden’ to conduct these exchange programs.

The Orchid School takes the responsibility of arranging, hosting and supervising their India visit. This exchange program has been initiated by our Director, Ms Lakshmi Kumar who is a certified cross cultural trainer and coordinator for the Swindia Project. She has been mentoring and coordinating the Social work student visits from leading universities such as ‘Orebro; and ‘Midsweden’ from Sweden.

Under the ‘Sweden-India Teachers Exchange Program’, teachers from The Orchid School also get a chance every year to visit Sweden for the cultural and educational experience and staying in a foreign country.

Under a new initiative by Pasch - selected students from Std. VII & VIII who have opted for German language get an opportunity to go for a study visit to Germany. Selection of students is based on certain parameters like communication skills, initiative for different projects and their interest for the language. Under this program this year 3 student’s visited Germany for the ‘Mini-Munchen Project’.
