Nursery merging to 2 divsions  from 22nd August, 2011

For Nursery parents

Dear Parents,

This is to inform you that we have planned to open up new admissions for Nursery for current session, from 3rd November, 2011. This will be a new section from 2nd term. After several layers of brainstorming, deliberation and discussion this decision is made.

The following points would throw light to understand this decision better.
a.   Initially, children were in small groups which has enabled them to settle down . They are showing readiness to mingle with more numbers.[as assured there will be only 35 children per division]

b.   As the new admissions trickle in, the new ones will be facing separation anxiety. Hence, affecting the present set of well settled children (with crying episodes from the new ones).

c.   The present set would have reached an advantage of conceptual attainment and language expressions wherein the new ones require handholding, perhaps going back to the basics.

d. This parity between two groups in one class can be a disadvantage in terms of pacing the teaching –learning process.

     Thus, in lieu of the above, children from Nursery Fawn  will be merged, a few to the Nursery Khaki division and others to Nursery Beige. This will be done  keeping in mind, the boy-girl ratio  of the other two divisions so there is a fair balance in numbers as they grow.

     The Fawn Class main and assistant  teachers will be part of the other two divisions thus,  help in the smooth transition of your child by being with them for more than a month. During this point of time there will be three teachers and a helper staff in each of these classes.

     We are sending this circular as the merging will be in effect from 22nd August,2011 , which will give a clear 2 months in transition and settling down process.
