Why shift in school re-opening date?

Due to heavy and incessant rain and wind on Thursday (26th May) evening the signboard on top of the school building fell causing part breakage of the dome in the amphitheatre (3rd floor).

Therefore, date of Parent Orientation (Classes I to VII) and first day of school (Classes I to IX) had to be rescheduled.

Please Note:

There has been no structural damage to the school building.

The signboard has been cleared over the weekend and repair work is nearing completion.

To this extent relevant personnels and agencies have been called to inspect the building.

The school team and expert teams have taken all necessary steps and measures to ensure safety and readiness for start of academic year.

Please note new dates:

Parent Orientation and book collection - 3rd June (Class I - VII)

Book collection and class orientation for Nursery, Jr. KG and Sr. KG on 4th June 2011 , Timing - 09:00 a.m.

General Orientation followed by class orientation for Std. VIII and IX on 4th June 2011, Timing 09:00 a.m. onwards.

First day - 6th June (Classes I toIX)

             - 7th June (Jr. K.G. and Sr. K.G.)

             - 15th June (Nursery)
