Circular for class IV to IX

Dear Parents ,

The Orchid School announces with great pleasure the honorable presence of Hon Dr. Abdul Kalam on the occasion of Science Expo “Celebrating Science and Life” on 9^th February 2012

It is a great milestone in the history of The Orchid School to be able to host this mega event. It will be a source of inspiration for the students of the school for years to come and will motivate them always to participate in many more similar events in the future.

The Orchid School has also invited students from neighborhood schools to participate in this occasion.

We take great pleasure in welcoming you for the Science e Expo .However Hon Dr. Kalam’s address is only for TOS student and  other schools due to space / security reasons. Your timing therefore will be 6.30 pm - 7.30 pm [This is after Dr. Kalam has left].

Flow of the Day

• Date-9-2-12
• Reporting time for students 2 p.m. – (Std. IV – IX). Transport will be provided only to come to school.
• 4.00pm to 5.00pm – Dr. Kalam ‘ visit .
• 5.15 pm to 6.15 pm – All invitees to see the Expo .
• 6.30 pm to 7.30pm – Orchid parents to experience the Science Expo .
• 7.30pm (and not before) – Students to leave with parents.

Please note the following

1. Students should come in complete school uniform.(school shoes ,socks and Identity card is a must.)

2. Transport will be provided only to come to school (for the children using school transport )

3. Children to carry light snack ( for 2 times) and water.

4. Parent to come only by 6.30 pm (not before) - to avoid traffic congestion.
