Subject : German Language Class

Dear Parents,

This is to announce German Language Class as an after school activity from 3.15 to 4.00 pm for students of the Orchid School.  This is an opportunity for all students (Classes V to IX) to learn a foreign language, however, this is not a language for Board examination.

Details -

• Class opened for Std V to IX, twice a week.

• Timing 3.15pm  to 4.00pm ,2 days a week

• Junior  group Std V and VI – Every Tuesday and Friday

• Senior group Std VII , VIII  and IX – Every Monday and Thursday

• The class tutoring is free of cost this year. However, in case the child withdraws for some reason, before completion of one academic cycle, you will need to pay Rs. 5000 as fees in retrospect.

• This will be a certificate course and information regarding the same will be sent to you shortly. Also a meeting to orient you to the examination –               ‘Fit in Deutche’ will be arranged.

• Parents will need to pay for the course material (text book) and the examination fee. The examinations are ordered from Germany (through Max Mueller) at the cost of Rs. 1300 /- approximately. (No tuition fee will be charged)

• Parents will need to arrange transport for the two days.

• In order to make this program a success we require a minimum of 20 children in each group (junior and senior).

• Students can try two introductory classes for the first week, before giving final confirmation of enrolment.

• Schedule for the introductory classes will be as follows

• Senior group  on Monday 13^th June and Tuesday 14^th June

• Junior  group  on Thursday 16^th June and Friday 17^th June
