The Orchid School Baner, Pune Circular No. TOS/FRO/CIR/FS/11-12/06 Date: 7th September 2011 ‘we worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today’. ‘CHILD OF TOMORROW’ Dear Parents We are pleased to announce, that Mr Ashish Rajpal (CEO of iDiscoveri Education) for the first time addressing parents of The Orchid School on ‘Child of Tomorrow’. XSEED is an initiative of the iDiscoveri. This is the third year we have included XSEED program in our curriculum. The broad theme for the session will be – ‘Child of Tomorrow’, and would cover - ‘How you can nurture confident and characterful learners?’. Ashish will draw on his decade-long experience in working with over 700 schools across the country and draw on the latest research on child development to help parents understand how each child is different, how they learn and what parents can do to foster their learning & achieving their shared dream. About Ashish Rajpal - Co-founder and CEO of iDiscoveri Education (XSEED). Ashish has an international corporate career to work in education. Apart from managing iDiscoveri's growing organization, he creates and facilitates programs on teacher development, leadership, and organization culture. A former student of Howard Gardner, his areas of interest include "doing classrooms", self-esteem of children, and non-authoritarian leadership. Ashish has an M.Ed from Harvard University and an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur. He enjoys reading and writing, sufi music, running, the outdoors, and making up children's stories. He also teaches Grade 4 science. In 2008, he was identified by Education World magazine amongst the 50 top leaders changing education in India. This is a free entry and optional session for parents. Since the capacity of the auditorium is 350 seats we need to freeze on to the number.
