Sept 20th 2017 started with Science Quiz Round 2 for primary and secondary classes. The event witnessed enthusiastic preparation and participation as the winning team from every class would represent their grade in the Third and Final round of the Science Quiz. The quizzes were conducted in the MPH .
This initiative was started by TOS, last year to promote healthy and positive competition among students. There was an initial round conducted in every class, every section and 3 participants from each class were selected based on their performance in round 1. In round 2, the three teams formed with three participants from each class compete with each other and the winning team qualifies for the final round.
The challenging quiz rounds for the participants embedded with audience questions kept the children fully involved.
Class III students have been exposed to a science quiz for the first time. The participants from Class III, Ivory were Devna Belani, Abhinav Premkumar and Shriya Kharade. Participants from Honeydew were Sarvesh Tambe, Mihika Kalkar and Karvy Labba and particpants from Pearl- were Naitik Waswani, Mihir Apte and Veda Chapparwar.
It was interesting to watch the young students compete with each other. The winners were Sarvesh Tambe, Mihika Kalkar and Karvy Labba from Honeydew.
The second round of science quiz for Class IV was conducted after lunch break in the MPH.

After giving a tough competition to both the other teams, the khaki team breathed a sigh a relief when they were declared the winners at the end of round 5.
The enthusiastic teams and students of class V assembled at the MPH in the morning of 20th September 2017.
Participants for class V were Plums: Turya Bhatkar, Neel Prabhat and Mihir Gupte. Iris: Aryan Surana, Vedant Shah and Sameer Datar Periwinkle: Divjot Saini, Isha Chavan and Ananya Singhal
Team IRIS was declared as the winner with 110 points leaving behind team Periwinkle and team Plam at 90 points each. Well done!! Team Iris.
